About Jackson Terminal
Jackson Terminal was built for the East Tennessee, Virginia & Georgia Railway in the late 1800s as a regional freight terminal, and its heavy timber framing and brick masonry survive intact. A major restoration in the late 1990s turned the building into event and creative space while keeping the industrial character. Vaulted ceilings, arched windows and exposed brick make it a favorite for Old City weddings.
