What we collect
If you just browse: standard web server logs — IP address, browser, pages requested, timestamps. These are used for security and to understand traffic, and are rotated regularly.
If you create an account: your name, email address, an optional phone number, and a hashed password. We never store your password in readable form.
If you send a message: the name, email, optional phone number and message text you type, plus the IP address you sent it from.
If you claim a listing: your role at the business, the work email you verify with, and any supporting information you supply.
Cookies
We set one cookie, a session cookie, and only when you sign in or submit a form. It carries no advertising identifier. We do not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking scripts on this site.
How we use it
To run your account, to authenticate you, to deliver enquiries to the right business, to review claims, and to keep the site secure. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Business listing information
Listings contain business contact details compiled from publicly available sources — business websites, public directories and public review platforms. If you are the owner and want your listing corrected or removed, contact us and we will act on it promptly.
Ratings data
Ratings shown are aggregate scores and review counts observed on public review platforms. We do not copy review text, and we link back to the source platform wherever we can.
We send transactional email only — verification codes, claim decisions and enquiry notifications. We do not send marketing email from this site.
Retention and your rights
Account data is kept while your account is open. Verification codes are deleted or expired within minutes. You can ask us to correct or delete your account and any personal data at any time — write to our contact form and we will respond.
